Options:

Years 9,10 & 11 students are able to choose up to four further subjects depending on which science course they follow.  The selected science course affects the number of other subject choices remaining.

Dual Award Science (Awarded 2 GCSEs)

Triple Award Science (Awarded 3 GCSEs)

Each student will be given a recommended science course to follow by their science teacher.

Students can choose their remaining options from a range of academic and vocational courses.  This currently includes those listed below.  Courses offered are reviewed on a regular based to ensure that our curriculum continues to meet the needs of all students. Courses offered are also subject to change, depending on a range of circumstances.

LSA Step Up Programme.

We provide a supported study programme for students in Years 10 and 11 who are working at Entry Level in English and/or mathematics.  Students are identified in advance of our options process and parents are contacted so that we can work together to ensure that each individual has a personalised curriculum that enables them to make best progress and secures next steps.
